Document Delivery Plus

Document Delivery Plus (DD+) provides retrieval and delivery of Library materials (books and photocopies) to departmental offices. The service is available to all CSU faculty and staff with offices on campus.

Registration

Faculty and staff need to register for this service to authorize DD+ personnel to check out materials in the requestor's name or charge photocopying to departmental accounts. You can register by completing our online registration form.

How to Use It

First-time users will need to create a user profile in ILLiad, the Library's online Interlibrary Loan system. If you already have created a profile in ILLiad, you can use the same profile to submit DD+ requests.

Select the appropriate form for a book or article, then supply the information requested in each field. The last field is a NOTES field, which you can use to indicate that the request should be processed as Document Delivery Plus. While putting this information in the NOTES field is optional, it will help the ILL staff to identify the request as DD+ and transfer it to the Document Delivery module within ILLiad.

Processing of Requests

Circulating materials will be checked out in the requester's name and delivered to the department. All delivered materials will be signed by a departmental staff person to verify receipt. Photocopy requests for articles will be copied and sent to the requester via campus mail. Requests for materials that cannot be found on the shelf or are unavailable will be transferred back to the InterLibrary Loan module in ILLiad.
